In response to the closure of schools in the country as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, a home literacy project in partnership with United Way was launched for children in selected communities within Accra and Kumasi. Children in these beneficiary communities participated in reading and writing sessions including training on the essentials of arithmetic.
