PruRide Accra aims to promote cycling as a healthy lifestyle choice and to elevate the sport’s profile in Ghana and West Africa. The event serves as a platform for both amateur and professional cyclists to showcase their skills and compete at a high level

Independence square > High Court > National Theatre > Liberation Circle > Conference Centre > Osu Traffic Light > Stadium Main Gate > Ministry of Sports > Ministry of Interior main gate <

The race will be a circuit. The riders will ride the circuit 29 times to cover a distance of 100km

Requirements:

  • Participants must be professional cyclists with a UCI license or affiliated with a recognized cycling club.
  • Cyclists are required to register through the official channels provided by the event organizers.(Ghana cycling Federation)

  • Men's Elite Category
  • 1st – Ghc 15,000
  • 2nd – Ghc 8,000
  • 3rd – Ghc 5,000
  • 4th – 10th– Ghc 1,000 each
  • The Oldest Male Rider (50+ Years) - Ghc 1,500
  • Special Prizes - Ghc 500 each for the first three youngest male participants
  • Women's Elite Category (75km)
  • 1st – Ghc 15,000
